Hero disgusted me

Isaiah unwillingness to stop being a maneho!e after being intimate with Darcy hurt my enjoyment of the story.
Some spoilers included in the review
While I did not like him getting it on with two women from Darcy's party that she invited him to, I could overlook it. He knew she liked him and was very attracted to him. Darcy had a spur of the moment party to see him again. They were having a good time talking to each other but when she disappears for a moment he decides he is horny because being around her made him so and so he gets into a three way with two of her female guests. She was understandably hurt but they had not gotten physical at that point so I could handle it.
What disgusted me is that he got hired as part of her band crew to get into her pants. It worked even though she told herself to result him. He got intimate with her, threw the fact that he did in her face and then sc&ewed a groupie. She was again upset. Any sympathy or liking I had for him vanished especially since he was again intimate with Darcy shortly thereafter. That was just gross. Her being such a pushover or doormat in allowing the intimacy shortly after he had anal smex with the groupie made me have less respect for her as well. Of course the story was stereotypical in Darcy never slept with anyone else after being intimate with him. While there have been exceptions in romance books it usually the hero who sleeps with others after being with the heroine. It is very rarely the heroine because woman supposedly do not need or want smex as much as men. What is worse is that it is women authors who are perpetuating that sexist stereotype and I am sick of it.
Other problems I had with the story include his abandoning his company without notice and going back to it again just to leave again without it being negatively impact was unrealistic. His being wealthy was never really explained. Also the story held little suspense. The guilty party was apparent way before it was revealed. In addition there were grammar mistakes that would have been caught with more editing.

This story is a slow burn with a meteor shower

On the heels of "For a Good Time Call..." comes the story of Fiona's brother, Isaiah. Isaiah was also a victim of their father's abusively strict religious upbringing. After his father's death, with the help of his sister, Isaiah learns about the real world. 6 years later he is living his life with empty sexual conquests. His new neighbor, Darcy is a free spirited rock star. He finds her a breath of fresh air and a challenge to conquer. Attempting to learn more about her he joins her road crew. They get close but when a stalker gets too close things fall apart.
This story is a slow burn with a meteor shower. We get romance, suspense, and mystery all rolled into one really great read. Watching Isaiah discover what is most important to him as well as seeing Darcy come to terms with what and who she believes in was a treat.. Another hard to put down book by a favorite author..

I don't no when I've enjoyed a story so thoroughly as this one.This story took a moment for me to finish not only because of the subject matter but also because of the actions that were happening or had happened.There are some dark undertones in this story but the writer handles them with such class.These is very well written and thought out story,you are going to love main characters and there supporting cast.There are going to be moments when you are going to feel all the emotions.This is a story where you are going to know how love heals.Take a dark journey with two people who find there way into the sun.
