This book is pretty comprehensive in its scope. Overall it is pretty accessible to both laypeople and finance types. Might be improved with a slightly different layout with more structure. Overall though, I would recomend it for somebody who really wants to know about the world of Moolah!

Great book! cheap publisher? the binding glue stinks BAD

The book contents are great, but this seems to be a cheap printing. My god, the binding glue smells simply awful! I have to put the but down sometimes to get away from the smell! And the paper is whisper thin. But aside from the publisher, the content is excellent. In combination with Harris' Trading and Exchanges, you'll know quite a bit more about financial markets as they are in reality, not in some finance egghead's dream world.
