Every day is a test

In my field, every day is a test. I feel like I was going to have to test myself over and over so that I knew what I needed to know in order to do my job. In the workforce, I have a little time here and there to check up on information. I can refer to research, ask people questions, and get the information I need before I proceed. On tests, however, I have to have everything I need at the top of my brain. I have to do it all myself. In order to get as much information in there as I could, I got this study guide to help me. Let me first say that I was impressed at the low cost of the guide. That led me to think that maybe it wouldn't be as good as it claimed, but that wasn't true at all. The guide was fully comprehensive and had everything in it that I might need to know for the test. That being said, I didn't think there was anything that wasn't needed, which made me feel like I was wasting absolutely no time with the guide. The other thing it did was take me through a few study and test taking tips and secrets to help me get through the big day as well. With my job, every day can be a huge test, but I'm glad this particular test had the study guide backing me up. In fact, I actually kept it around for later reference.

Goes the extra mile

I recently got hired on at a surgery center and everything was looking great until the employer found out I didn't have a CNOR certificate... so they requested I complete the exam to be able to actually retain the job offer. I was given a fair amount of time to study and take the exam as the job wasn't scheduled to start for another 2 months, so I went out looking for a great CNOR study guide and found the "CNOR Exam Secrets Study Guide: CNOR Test Review for the CNOR Exam". This book really goes the extra mile in not only offering an overview of the whole CNOR testing process, but offers tips, advice and tools to help nurses prepare properly for the exam. After studying for the exam and really utilizing the companion flashcards I was ready for the exam and did an excellent job in getting high results, much higher than that surgery center I was hired at requested.
